How many times do we try to do something great and are stopped in our tracks for some unforeseen reason and can’t get going again?
I am a survivor of this scenario many times over. Some would call this the brick wall, the one that got away, death of a dream. Well, I want to tell you what was missing each and every time this happened to me. It is the P factor. The P stands for passion and the definition of passion is this: heat; rage; mania. These three definitions will fit in somewhere in everyone’s idea of the word. It means intensely emotional about whatever it is you are doing. Without the P factor you will not be successful at anything in life, period. You have to want something so bad that you are willing to do whatever it takes and this could be a sacrifice of another part of your life. If you have something that you desire immensely that you know if you just take action and push yourself where you have never been, you just know you can get there.
The word MAYBE has to be completely removed from this passion. This new irresistible motive cannot involve any disbelief. You absolutely and completely believe to such an extent that you have tunnel vision. What is tunnel vision? Some people would say that this is when you get crystal clear about what it is you are doing and where you want to go and how you are getting there. You are like a freight train that is traveling very fast and has momentum. It just pushes all the obstacles out of the way.
Being laser focused on the goal is the key ingredient for having the mindset you will need to help you shift into the gears of success. Be the best you can be at whatever it is you do and then push yourself to be better.
When you have arrived at this level of energy, people will be drawn to you. They will want to do what you are doing, so be that person who only sees light at the end of the tunnel and lead others into it as well. When you help others reach their dreams and passions then you will be successful too.
