If you are frustrated, as I was, with the daily grind of going to work, punching a clock, never getting ahead, and now, with this economy, wondering if tomorrow you will even have a job, I would like to offer some hope. There is no recession on the internet. In fact, it is booming. There is no reason that you should not be able to build a successful business online, with a little effort and a little cash investment, if you find a system that is working for other people, and do what they are doing. The first thing you need to do is a little homework. What are other people doing online? There are some choice opportunities out there. I believe a major key is finding something that you are able to duplicate. This is going to give you the most success for building an online business. You need something to sell, and a profitable system to sell it that will provide you with a nice residual income down the road. The awesome thing about online marketing is that you have a global market with 1.5 billion people, in over 100 English speaking countries! Once you find a good system that you feel that you can be successful in, you need to find a way to capture people’s attention, or generate leads. If you have ever done network marketing, you know that you have to find people to sell to. My brother-in-law once invested in an online store, but he never told anyone where it was, or how to get to it. Nobody once shopped at his little store because he never advertised that it was there! People have to know how to find what you have to offer. A good online business is going to have an automated system for you to be able to plug into so you can start generating leads right away, without too much difficulty (we call this driving traffic). There are some select companies out there now with automated systems and a duplicable website they help you to build. That is what my brother-in-law was missing. Another thing you are going to have to do to build an online business is establish a relationship with the people that you are marketing to. People can do business with any Joe online. Why do they want to do business with you? Build trust with your clients. Offer them a service, not just a product. A built in auto-responder program that sends out e-mails to all your prospective clients is a great tool that some business opportunities are offering. That way, your leads are not forgetting about you, because they are getting little reminders of what you have to offer them in their e-mails a couple of times a week. There are a few companies offering this valuable resource. A good marketing system will also have a professional call center that you can utilize so that you don’t have to close all the sales yourself. They do it for you. It takes a lot of pressure off of you, especially if you are new at marketing. This gives you the opportunity to be developing yourself, learning as much as you can about this new world of online marketing. Finally, you should be looking for a company to join that will help you every step of the way, offering free training and opportunities for you to learn so that you never feel like you are on your own. Building an online business can be overwhelming, but also very rewarding, both personally and financially. The internet is not going away. It is only growing. Jump on board and join thousands of others who are leaving their traditional jobs behind. For more information

How many times do we try to do something great and are stopped in our tracks for some unforeseen reason and can’t get going again?
I am a survivor of this scenario many times over. Some would call this the brick wall, the one that got away, death of a dream. Well, I want to tell you what was missing each and every time this happened to me. It is the P factor. The P stands for passion and the definition of passion is this: heat; rage; mania. These three definitions will fit in somewhere in everyone’s idea of the word. It means intensely emotional about whatever it is you are doing. Without the P factor you will not be successful at anything in life, period. You have to want something so bad that you are willing to do whatever it takes and this could be a sacrifice of another part of your life. If you have something that you desire immensely that you know if you just take action and push yourself where you have never been, you just know you can get there.

The word MAYBE has to be completely removed from this passion. This new irresistible motive cannot involve any disbelief. You absolutely and completely believe to such an extent that you have tunnel vision. What is tunnel vision? Some people would say that this is when you get crystal clear about what it is you are doing and where you want to go and how you are getting there. You are like a freight train that is traveling very fast and has momentum. It just pushes all the obstacles out of the way.

Being laser focused on the goal is the key ingredient for having the mindset you will need to help you shift into the gears of success. Be the best you can be at whatever it is you do and then push yourself to be better.
When you have arrived at this level of energy, people will be drawn to you. They will want to do what you are doing, so be that person who only sees light at the end of the tunnel and lead others into it as well. When you help others reach their dreams and passions then you will be successful too.

Natural Search depends on search engine optimization (SEO) to drive organic traffic to your website, which will in turn send people to your affiliate offers. SEO helps to make your website friendly so that the search engines, such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing send traffic to your site. You can use keywords in the content of your page, and build quality backlinks that point to your site, which will help your site to rank higher in the search engines. You can also make money with affiliate products, depending on what kind of website you have.

One person can only do so much. But If he gathers a group of people around him who are committed to the same goals, if he galvanizes them and inspires them and taps into their inner drive, they can perform miracles together.

It takes courage. A lot of people will try to tell you it’s impractical or impossible. They’ll tell you to lower your sights. They’ll tell you business can’t be benevolent.

Remember: You’ll be left with an empty feeling if you hit the finish line alone. When you run a race as a team, though, you’ll discover that much of the reward comes from hitting the tape together. You want to be surrounded not just by cheering onlookers but by a crowd of winners, celebrating as one.

Victory is much more meaningful when it comes not just from the efforts of one person, but from the joint achievements of many. The euphoria is lasting when all participants lead with their hearts, winning not just for themselves but for one another…

“Success is sweetest when it’s shared.”

Tip #1 Learn to network
The key to network marketing, is, of course, in the networking. The online dictionary defines a network as “an association of individuals having a common interest, formed to provide mutual assistance, helpful information, or the like.” So network marketing should include your association with others, interested in business, committed to helping one another through training, education, and support. There is a great book by Harvey Mackay called, “Dig your well before you’re thirsty; the only networking book you’ll ever need.” Read it. It is eye-opening.
Social networking is the happening thing right now. Everyone is tweeting and blogging and everyone has a Facebook. These are great avenues to meet people and begin learning how to network.

Tip #2 Education
To become an effective network marketer, you need to educate yourself. Never stop learning. There are countless courses out there to help you to better yourself. Top earners of major network marketing companies will tell you that they spend thousands of dollars every year buying books, courses, going to conferences and seminars. That is one of the keys to their success. Education is power, right? It is going to give you more confidence and attract people to you and not just to your business. Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring is a great place to start.

Tip # 3 Duplication
Do what others are already doing. Find a system that is already working for other people, and do what they do. This, of course, is going to require you to do some research. There are a lot of opportunities out there. The internet is the happening place for network marketing.

Tip # 4 Be consistent
Once you get started, be consistent. Do a little every day. It does not do you any good to work really hard for 2 weeks and then not do anything for another 2 weeks. You are in it for the long haul, right? One bite at a time. It is easy to be all enthusiastic in the beginning and then be ready to quit when things aren’t happening fast enough. Network marketing does not mean get rich quick! You are going for a lifestyle change, and these things take time and effort.

Tip #5 Be positive
People are drawn to positive people. If things aren’t happening fast enough for you, work a little harder. Keep pushing forward. Anything worth doing is worth doing well. If you want to make network marketing a business, you need to work hard and keep the right attitude. And when you don’t feel like it, go to your mentors, your upline, people in your network who are there “to provide mutual assistance, helpful information, and the like.” You can do it!

I was on a conference call last evening, listening to frustrated members of my primary business vent their feelings of failure and disappointment that things were not going the way they had hoped. I was thinking about a little book I read a little while ago, and I would like to recommend it to all those defeated, frustrated people out there that want to quit when the going gets rough. It is called “The Dip” and it was written by a guy named Seth Godin who just writes these little gems about business that really stick with you.

The Dip is that place you come to in your business where things are slow, or not going quite the way you had planned. Godin says it is the long slog between starting and mastery, the difference between the beginning technique and the expert approach, the long stretch between beginner’s luck and real accomplishment.

My mama always told me that anything worth doing was going to be hard work. So why, when the work starts getting hard, do we want to give up? It is the dip, because the dip seems long and it seems to stretch to infinity.

I believe this is where the idea of the 3% leaders comes in. There’s only 3% left in the game because the other 97% hit the dip and decided to quit. “The Dip is the secret to your success. The people who set out to make it through the Dip- the people who invest the time and the energy and the effort to power through the Dip- those are the ones who become the best in the world.”

If I could have told those people on the call anything tonight, I would have told them not to give up. Press through the dip, for there is hope on the other side, but it takes hard work to get there. I have been where they are, but I have learned that this is what makes or breaks leaders in business. There are those who will lean into it and master their game, and there are those who will go home with their tail between their legs. I, for one, am working for mastery, because I believe anyone who presses through can be successful.

lovers can’t get enough of it,

youth waste it,

and the old just want a little more of it.

And when our lives wind down, like the sands in the sandglass,

you can’t stop it.

Time. It’s what sparks us, inspires us, provokes us, prompts us.

It excites us, induces us, leads us, persuades us.

It motivates us.

What motivates you?
